Award to Mary B_edited.jpg

The 2019 RAAH Annual Meeting on September 26 celebrated 20 years of advocacy, Fundraising and education. Those in attendance learned about the work of Unified Health HIV and Beyond (UHHB) from the executive director, Linda Bielskis and heard how one man's life had improved thanks to short term housing assistance funded by your donations to RAAH's current Capital Campaign. Mary Browning, one of the founders of RAAH, received the Barbara Wykes Award to honor her years of service to RAAH and the community. Thanks to Congregation Beth Israel for hosting a lovely event.

Thanks to the generosity of RAAH's supporters, We were able to present UHHB with a check for $10,000 for the continuation of their supportive housing work for an extremely vulnerable population.

RAAH CHECK TO UHHB 2019.jpg

Over night of January 25-26, 2017 around 60 volunteers and Washtenaw County staff conducted the Point In Time Count of homeless persons in the county. The data that the volunteers collected and that the staff interpreted gives a fascinating picture of the complex population we place under that label “homeless.” You can view the data here.
